Self Love. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

Seems so f*cking unattainable right? I mean every single one of us struggle with this. We speak to ourselves with such disdain, tearing ourselves down, being our cruelest bullies. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

I wish I could tell you that I find it easy to love myself & that I have all the answers. I do not. I wish I could promise you that your inner critic would be forever silenced if you come to my class. I 100% can not. But I DO know, we can not just surrender to our self loathing. We have to at least put up a fight. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

What I can offer is an opportunity to come together for a class where we can work on acknowledgment, awareness, & at the very least, practice some positivity. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

Self love is a state of appreciation for oneself that grows from actions that support our physical, psychological & spiritual growth. Self love means having a higher regard for your own well being & happiness. Self love means taking care of your own needs & not always sacrificing your well being to please others. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

It can mean something different to each of us, but it starts with...⁣⁣

⁣⁣

• Talking to & about yourself with love⁣⁣

• Prioritizing yourself⁣⁣

• Giving yourself a break from self judgement⁣⁣

⁣⁣

Self love means accepting yourself as you are in this very moment for everything that you are. It means accepting your emotions for what they are & putting your physical, emotional & mental well being first.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

We can start by being kind, patient, gentle & compassionate to ourselves, the same way we would with someone else that we care about. (Jeffrey Borenstein, M.D.)⁣⁣
